It would have "followed them out of the house"? Yeah, right... that's what we call lazy convenience of narrative & poor screenwriting justifications. I would have been out of that house eons ago (or at least before the demonic presence got a firm hold on my daughter, say, five minutes into the film when daddy-o is walking in and out of the "ghost dimension" describing standing in the middle of his own goddamn living room as feeling like he's fucking UNDERWATER)! Oh, and let's try to imitate the aesthetic of antiquated celluloid with digital distortion and modern, post-prod filters... that'll surely work; ugh. This was at least fun to watch drunk though.
